Learnbase nurtures deep ethical awareness in ECE Professionals by transforming the ECEBC Code of Ethics and Best Choices program into an online, blended learning experience. This approach, developed in collaboration with the program's originators, utilizes the Learnbase Video Lesson maker to replicate a classroom experience, guiding participants through material with frequent invitations for self-reflection and exploration of ethical dilemmas. This method allows individuals more time to reflect without group dominance, enhancing interpersonal aspects through weekly group Zoom meetings and discussion threads. The program also pivoted to animation for video material due to COVID-19, creating an iconic style to reinforce the narrative across four modules. The initial challenge involved updating the face-to-face Best Choices program, which stakeholders were skeptical could be replicated online, into a deep transformational journey for navigating ethical workplace situations by addressing biases and unconscious perspectives.
