Simply, I feel that online learning should be:

  1. community anchored
  2. peer assessed and peer negotiated
  3. expert assessed and expertise driven
  4. human as well as automated
  5. lateral as well as linear
  6. now as well as then
  7. brought to you, not you to it
  8. both map and terrain
  9. graceful, simple and beautifully connected
  10. beyond LMS
