When Crista Cloutier was searching for a platform for the online version of her acclaimed ‘The Working Artist’ program, Learnbase was a natural choice. Crista had already filmed the first course, we took it from there, editing it together to ensure optimal interactivity and flow. Together we crafted a beautifully course. We continue to work closely with Crista and have recently amalgamated her existing sales site and her Learnbase platform into one cohesive site optimized for garnering email opt-ins and affiliate marketing. The program has become the leading online resource for aspiring working artists and has received significant acclaim in the art world.

Datawatch’s Learnbase course will be used to introduce clients to their data and software philosophy.
With fitness and health company Peak Symmetry, we helped take a grain of an idea and turn it into a realized, fully-integrated course, helping the client to conceptualize how online learning works. We worked together on every stage with the client to imagine how they could take their specific talent, knowledge, expertise and materials and turn these into something that would work in an online setting.

Sound Mind’s Valerie Ostara is a clinical hypnotherapist and child counsellor. She has created a practical guide for children and families struggling with anxiety, called the Closet Monster Battle Kit and her Learnbase site will offer the training component for parents. As well as building the Sound Mind online course, we are creating a brand new website for Sound Mind and have adapted the Learnbase shopping cart so that Valerie can sell not just her online course, but her other products and consultations as well. We have also added a new workbook feature so that parents will have a self-completed manual for reference when they are finished the course.
AquaQ Analytics provides specialist data management, data analytics and data mining services. Of all Learnbase’s clients, they chose to be the most hands-on with the development of their Learnbase site. They filmed and created all their own content, curated it themselves and were very clear in what they wanted in terms of new functionality and changes to the ‘look and feel’ of the site. Many of AquaQ’s requests have led to new functionality for the platform which have since become modules that we can offer to all our clients. They are currently selling enterprise licenses to Fortune 500 companies
Over the last 35 years, Foothills Academy has helped thousands of children with learning disabilities and ADHD more fully realize their potential. Foothills wanted to bring some of their resources to an online format in order to help a wider community not limited by geography. Their first step was to work on a course aimed at helping the parents of children with ADHD. The school filmed their own content that featured a local expert, and then sent the footage to Learnbase for integration with the platform.
The Coastal Academy of Hypnotic Arts and Sciences is a well-established school, renowned in their field with tried and tested courses. We needed to arrange and map out the presentation and filming of material they had been delivering in their physical classrooms for years, as well as assemble and integrate their other materials for online delivery. Our main task was to create an extremely interactive experience for their remote students. Additionally, we all recognized that their existing sales site did not have the look and feel appropriate for a business moving increasingly into an online market. We therefore started by completely redesign their sales website before beginning development of their online learning resource.
For Ron Serna of Bowen Biz, Learnbase provided the UI and UX design and business modelling behind the concept of this ‘video-based’ Bowen business directory. This is currently still in development.
Focusing on Raw Food, Holistic Nutritionist, and Ayervedic Medicine, Vaz Wellness offers lessons in healthy, holistic eating in an online context. Learnbase is currently developing an experiential health and wellness program.
For Organic Unearthed, Learnbase was commissioned to design a wire frame for a mobile, organic product-locating app.
Actual Musicians is an example of a Learnbase ‘umbrella’ deployment – a site where more than one organization can offer and individually monetize their courses under a common theme. The project spans a custom made music business course with Fair Wend Entertainment, a very organic Q+A panel series, and also required Learnbase to capture and craft content from Music BC’s live career development events. The project has been chosen recently by the cross-Canada project Rock-a-Future to provide their ongoing music business education component.
